Message from the Rabbi

 "You shall further instruct the Israelites to bring you clear oil of beaten olives for lighting, for kindling lamps regularly. (Exodus 27:20)
I bring you a message from Israel this week.  As I speak with Israelis, the common quote I hear is, “We will dance again.”  I’m not sure if it is a direct response to the dancing that was happening at the Nova festival when the massacre of October 7th happened or just a basic life approach to the war, it reminds me of the resiliency of our people. The Rabbis teach, the Jewish people are like the olives.  Though we are beaten, we still bring light to the world.
