“You shall appoint judges.” (Deuteronomy 16:18)
No doubt every society needs a system jurisprudence in which people are employed by society to maintain order and uphold the rule of law. 
Then there are people in our lives who are self appointed judges. It is their opinion we can ignore. And it is easy to discern the difference between the two.
