Take it Personally
Now Korah, son of Izhar son of Kohath son of Levi, betook himself, along with Dathan and Abiram sons of Eliab, and On son of Peleth—descendants of Reuben — (Numbers 16:1)

Criticism hurts most from those closest to you. Whether the disapproval is warranted or not, words from people we love enter us deeply.  
Often we hear the comment, it isn’t personal, it is just business. That phrase usually comes when it is clear that what has been said or done is hurtful.  Telling someone “it's not personal” only makes the circumstance worse.
