We have a special opportunity planned for Wednesday, May 14! GHC has booked a tour of the  Union Church of Pocantico Hills, 555 Bedford Road, Tarrytown for 11 am. The tour, given by Historic Hudson Valley, will be of the stained glass windows by European masters, commissioned by the Rockefeller family. These windows include Henri Matisse’s last commissioned work, the Rose Window, and 9 windows by Marc Chagall. Cost/person: $10. 

Following the church tour, at noon we will visit the David Rockefeller Creative Arts Center at The Pocantico Center, 200 Lake Road, Tarrytown for a free curator-led tour of Sketching Lights: Chagall’s Windows for Union Church . The tour will last no more than an hour. This special exhibit closes on May 17. 

All are welcome to join the group for lunch following the Chagall sketches tour.
